Koopman's Fine Cake Mix - 400g


A classic! With Koopmans Fine cake you bake a real airy, authentic Dutch cake.

Ingredients: Sugar, Wheat flour, Corn starch, Rice starch, Rye flour, Potato starch, Raising agents (Diphosphates, Sodium carbonates), Emulsifiers (Polyglycerol esters of fatty acids, Mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), Salt, Natural lemon flavour, Vanilla aroma

Add yourself: 150 g butter, 50 ml milk and 4 eggs
Necessities • 1 pack Koopmans Fine cake • 150 g butter or margarine • 4 eggs (M) • 50 ml (4 tablespoons) of milk (all at room temperature)
Kitchenware • Cake mold 30 cm • Mixer
Oven temperature Electric oven: 325 °F (160 ° C)
Baking time: 60-70 minutes

1. Place the rack slightly below the center of the oven and preheat the oven.
2. Grease the cake tin with butter and dust the inside with flour or use baking spray (eg Dr. Oetker).
3. Using the mixer, beat the 150 g butter in a mixing bowl until soft and creamy.
4. Add the cake mix, 50 ml milk and the 4 eggs in one go.
5. Stir with the mixer on the lowest setting in 1 minute to a smooth batter.
6. Beat the batter with the mixer on the highest setting in about 2 minutes to a light batter.
7. Put the batter in the cake tin and bake the cake for 60-70 minutes and golden brown.
8. Remove the cake from the mold and let the cake cool on an wire rack for an hour.
At the end of the baking time, you can check whether the cake is cooked by piercing the center of the cake with a skewer. When the skewer comes out dry and clean, the cake is done.
Tips for additional ingredients through the batter: 3 tablespoons of gingerbread spices, 2 tablespoons of instant coffee, 2 teaspoons of lemon zest or 4 teaspoons of rum flavor (eg Dr. Oetker). • You can decorate the cake with frosting and sprinkle decoration (eg Dr. Oetker).
