Koopman's Spice Cake Mix - 400g.


With Koopmans old Dutch spice cake you can easily make with a delicious spicy taste, including Cinnamon, star anise and cloves.

Add yourself: 75 g butter, 3 eggs and 100 ml water

Ingredients Sugar wheat flour dextrose rye flour herbs & spices (including cinnamon, star anise, cloves) leavening agents (E500, E450) rice starch emulsifiers (E471, E475) burned sugar salt thickener (xanthan gum)

1. Place the rack slightly below the center of the oven and preheat the oven (325F or 160C).
2. Grease the cake tin with butter and dust the inside with flour or use baking spray (eg Dr. Oetker).
3. Beat the 75 g butter in a mixing bowl with the mixer until soft and creamy.
4. Add the cake mix, 100 ml water and the 3 eggs in one go.
5. Stir with the mixer on the lowest setting in 1 minute and then on the highest setting in 2 minutes until fluffy.
6. Put the batter in the cake tin and bake the cake for about 60 minutes.
7. Place the cake in the cake tin on a wire rack and let the cake cool in the baking tin for 10 minutes.
8. Take the cake out of the mold and let the cake cool on an wire rack for an hour.
