Frisian Clove Cheese, known in Dutch as Nagelkaas, is a distinctive and boldly flavored cheese that hails from the northern province of Friesland in the Netherlands. Made from cow’s milk, this semi-hard cheese is seasoned with a warming blend of cloves and cumin, giving it a uniquely spiced, almost nostalgic aroma that sets it apart from other Dutch cheeses.

It pairs beautifully with dark breads, strong beers, or apple slices for a truly Dutch experience.

Frisian Clove Cheese is a taste of old-world tradition—robust, comforting, and perfect for those who like a little spice with their slice.
